Setting up an advanced search form

The Zeus WordPress theme has a built-in advanced search form that can be added to a website page using a shortcode.

Shortcode attributes:

If some attribute is not used by you in the shortcode, then it should be removed from this shortcode.

  • heading – The title that will be shown above the search form.
  • number_items – The number of items that will be shown in the search results on the first page. Numeric value.
  • post_type – A unique key for one of the built-in custom post types: type-one (casino), type-two (game/slot), or type-three (bonus). You can only add one.
  • exclude_taxonomies – Which taxonomies should be excluded from the drop-down list in the advanced search form. Multiple taxonomy keys can be added, separated by commas. The taxonomy keys for categories are: Casino Category – type-one-categoryGame/Slot Category – type-two-category, and Bonus Category – type-three-category. The keys of the custom taxonomies you added can be found in the admin panel in the Taxonomies section – Taxonomy Key column.
  • hide_first_button – If the shortcode for the item list of custom post types (Casino, Game/Slot, and Bonus) allows hiding the first button. Add the value yes to this attribute.
  • hide_second_button – If the shortcode for the item list of custom post types (Casino, Game/Slot, and Bonus) allows hiding the second button. Add the value yes to this attribute.
  • displayed_taxonomy – If the shortcode for the item list of custom post types (Casino, Game/Slot, and Bonus) allows showing taxonomy items. Add the taxonomy key whose items should be shown.
  • order_by – Available sorting options for items in the list can be found here.
  • order – There are two sorting options available. ASC (order from lowest to highest values) and DESC (order from highest to lowest values).
  • layout_style – Which search results layout style should be displayed. One of four styles can be applied for each post type (see the shortcode layouts for the corresponding post type). Valid values ​​are 1, 2, 3, or 4.
  • vertical_image – Only applicable to search results for Type #2 posts. Please add the yes value to this attribute.
  • columns – Only applicable to layout styles that have columns. Valid values ​​are 123, and 4.
